IT'S A "GAL" THING.....
Ask a man who's seen the movie "Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood" what it's about. He'll probably describe a moonlit ceremony where young girls adopt indian-style names, don ornate headdresses and form a "Ya-Ya Sisterhood". He may describe a strained marriage, drug and alcohol addiction, or the antics of "crazy" women who call themselves "YaYas". Or he may roll his eyes, shrug, and proclaim "chick flick". Few see what we see: the thread that weaves it all together - a bond of deep, abiding friendship (the superglue of life) that prevails through thick and thin. It is, for women, a story we can all relate to because either we have friends like that or we long to......
This is a website of friends. Our goal is a united sisterhood, promoting the Ya-Ya spirit of friendship among women with "heart" throughout the country. Join us and discover how much fun and how rewarding it can be! Start by creating your own one-of-a-kind Sisterhood Headdress, then help to build the album (click below) with pics of your Sisterhood ceremony as well as those of other cherished moments of friendship.
